The Envotec EBD-400 Drain Valve is designed for use in commercial, residential, and industrial HVAC and plumbing applications. It is commonly used for boiler drains, chilled water piping drains, hydronic heating systems, and garden drains. The valve features a heavy pattern cast red brass body with a solid brass operating stem to provide durability and reliable operation. A large, unobstructed waterway allows for greater flow rates during draining. The valve includes a cast metal handwheel with a brass mounting screw and a packing nut design intended for long service life. Sealing is provided by PTFE components, including stem and sealing washers, with Teflon and graphite packing. The inlet connection is a male pipe thread, while the outlet is equipped with a 3/4 inch garden hose thread connection. The valve is rated for non-shock water, oil, and gas service within specified pressure and temperature limits.
