The Envotec EIS Series Sand-mud interceptors are used to remove excessive amounts of sand-mud and silt, which may interfere with the proper drainage and treatment of wastewater. Local plumbing codes generally require the installation of a sand mud interceptor prior to discharging into the public sanitary sewer system.
