Water hammer arrestors designed to absorb shock from sudden water flow stoppage in piping systems for residential and commercial use.
Envotec EST Series Water Hammer Arrestors are used to absorb shock created when water flow in a piping system suddenly stops due to fast-closing shutoff valves, solenoid valves, dishwashers, washing machines, and similar equipment. The arrestors reduce noise and help prevent damage associated with water hammer in plumbing systems. They are suitable for installation in both new and existing residential and commercial plumbing systems and can be installed at any angle using a standard pipe tee. The units are permanently sealed with a pre-charged air cushion and are designed for long-term operation under specified pressure and temperature limits. Construction includes a hard drawn type L copper body with an internal mirror finish, a Teflon piston, EPDM O-ring seals, and a lead-free brass threaded adaptor. Standard connection is male NPT, with BSPT male threaded socket type available as an option.
